There are many wonderful aspects to NBA 2K23 MyCAREER this year, such as exciting quests like There's A Cole World, some players are experiencing problems with one major bug. We had this problem in our personal NBA 2K23 MyCAREER Save and it's apparent whenever you attempt to play your next NBA game that causes an all-game freeze.
After trying various ways, we've finally found the one that has worked and cleared up all of the freezes in our MyCAREER save. It appears the problem here is related to the clothes your MyPLAYER is wearing and the freezing occurs right prior to the fashion walk before the game triggers. This glitch has occurred for players who were working on Palace Intrigue and Courting Calloway quests in The City, so it's unclear what's the culprit.
We found a few inventory items like seen in the image below that have signs with plus to indicate a brand bonus but are without the icon. Additionally, some connected to earlier quests might have caused this. Before playing our next NBA sport, we removed the following items: We're not able to determine which of these items triggered the issue, however the Calloway's Court items seem most likely as they had most recently been received.
In any case, if you're suffering from this issue you're playing Courting Calloway or Palace Intrigue quests we recommend to remove all of them following a game restart to test if it can fix the bug. For us, these removals have prevented the freeze from occurring, and allowed that MyCAREER save to continue with no issue. 2K is expected to release an update within the next few days with the ability to fix it permanently and this fix can keep the issue at bay until then.
NBA 2K23's MyCAREER won't be complete with The Neighborhood, and this year will be available for Current Gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch), The Neighborhood will be aboard The G. O. A. T. Boat. The luxury cruise ship has more courts and exciting new adventures similar to last year's Cancha del Mar.
