The theme and design of Rocket League are quite tempting to let your content stay in a video game. That's why Psyonix and Hot Wheels were in charge of designing a game set that will be available this year and that will allow you to experience real encounters.Today Psyonix announced its new agreement with Hot Wheels for 2018 and presented the Rocket League RC Rivals set, which will bring the intensity of the matches to real life Rocket League Crates. This new product, which is expected to be available in the fall of this year, contains a board that fulfills the coaurt function and will display the marker on an LCD panel. Obviously, the set includes a pair of cars with rechargeable battery, Octane and Dominus, which will be controlled via mobile devices thanks to its bluetooth connection. In addition, the ball will have an infrared signal that will confirm the score.

After making the very fun ARC Squadron mobile game (which is no longer available in the App Store), Psyonix studio has created one of the most popular multiplayer games of recent years: Rocket League. This football game where vehicles take the place of footballers has been a huge success on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC); and it's not over since the studio has signed a licensing agreement with Mattel for the implementation of an even more crazy project: a Rocket League IRL ("in real life"), bringing together two Hot Wheels toy cars that it will be able to remotely control with its iPhone (via Bluetooth), the objective being always to push a foam ball in the zone of goal opposing Rocket League Keys. The rocking of the digital world to the real world is not a novelty; Anki, the origin of the hilarious robot Cozmo, built its success on the Anki Overdrive technology toy, which consists of real small cars with a reprogrammable AI running on a customizable track. As always, these high-tech toys are expensive; the Rocket League "hard" is announced at a price of $ 180, and we should be able to get one by the end of the year holidays ...
